Hello, art enthusiasts, Welcome to the second edition of my newsletter, which I've decided to rename. I hope you all enjoyed a lovely summer, no matter where you were or what you were doing in this ever-changing world. While challenges continue to arise, some things remain constant. I spent the long summer days in my studio preparing for Art Source at the R.D.S. from 14-18—more details to come. My studio is usually a quiet place, so it was a pleasure to host art lovers and friends during my Open Studio Day. It was a fantastic success, and I thoroughly enjoyed discussing my work and showcasing my small studio and the tools I use daily. This cozy studio serves as a wonderful retreat for me, where I spend hours painting and researching while listening to my favorite French radio station. France Bleu Armorique, now called Ici Armorique, has been companion for over 20 years, providing a lot of continuity and nostalgia for my Breton studio.. Since my last update, I had the exhilarating experience of having my large painting, "Summer Fun," displayed in the window of Trinity Gallery, Dublin, just a stone's throw from the National Gallery of Ireland. It sold within two days, and I have another large piece ready for display at the beginning of October. Art Source at R.D.S. is my next major exhibition, and I’ve been diligently preparing for it.  This is a significant undertaking, especially for those of us who work with oils, as they require more time to dry and be ready for varnishing. My collection features a variety of landscapes, seascapes, and figures, including some fruit trees that provided a delightful distraction. I hope you will find them captivating enough to bring one home. I'm excited to see them framed! There's much to do in terms of cataloging and pricing.
